Moments that change everything

Your support ensures no one faces them alone

This is all he had with him

One patient's story.

Thousands more need someone beside them.

When Joe* arrived at hospital after a life-changing injury, he carried almost everything he owned in an old knapsack.

He was overwhelmed, uncertain about the future, and had nowhere stable to go when he left hospital.

More than anything, he was alone.

A hospital chaplain took the time to sit beside Joe, listen to his story, and walk alonside him through the weeks that followed.

Later, Joe said:

Joe's story is just one of many.

Every day, chaplains support patients and families facing moments that change everything. Your support helps ensure that no one has to face those moments alone.

I feel really peaceful when we talk together.

I wasn't feeling that before."

— Joe

$100 supports ongoing visits for patients navigating uncertainty, recovery, or emotional distress.
$250 provides dedicated one-on-one pastoral care for several patients during critical moments over the course of a week.

SUPPORTER  VOICES

“As a Staff Nurse working on a very busy medical ward, I found the services of a hospital chaplain to be absolutely essential to provide support, companionship and spiritual help at times of great vulnerability for patients and their families.”
